Poetry of the day

                           My daughter`s birthday

                           She would have been nine today.

                                  Like every year

                                  I feed children at an orphanage,

                                  put flowers before her photo,

                                  and watch the day pass.

                                  Every year this day gets harder;

                                  I had thought it would be otherwise.

                                  The next day I find I feel relieved;

                                  And I am ashamed of this feeling.
